Chanel 2011 Spring Makeup Collection

Mademoiselle Chanel turned pearls into an emblematic accessory, an essential element of her style.Guided by her infallible sense of beauty, she loved pearls for their simplicity, refined charm and above all, their power to illuminate the face.Pearls, a miracle of nature, inspire Peter Philips, Global Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup. He uses their iridescent reflections to design a fresh and radiant Spring 2011 Makeup Collection.
For this radiant collection, every reflection of mother-of-pearl is invited to adorn the eyelids. Beneath iridescent eyeshadows, the eyes awaken, light up and flash with intensity, hesitating between the modesty of pearly white and the enchanting depths of stormy grey.
Pure, bottomless eyes find full expression on a fresh complexion glowing with naturalness and warmed by a smile kissed with peach or raspberry tones.
An interesting new eyeshadow palette formulation called Ombres Perles de Chanel. This palette is designed to hold five iridescent cream eyeshadows in Blanc perlé, Rose porcelaine, Violine clair, Gris vert and Gris noir scintillant. As with other creams, the lighter shades can be used as a highlighter on cheeks.
